Locker Room Rules

To ensure the safety of all our patrons, it is required that every person who uses the locker room abide by the following rules. These rules will be strictly enforced. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Locker Room Rules

  • All locker rooms are available to both parents and children.

  • Cell phones, devices, recording, and photography of any kind are strictly prohibited in the locker rooms.

  • Children under the age of four must be accompanied by a responsible adult and may have access to either gender locker room, specific to the gender of the accompanying adult.  Children four years and above are limited to the same-gender locker room or may use the family bathroom in the pool area.  Adults should do their best to preserve the modesty of adults using the locker rooms.

Children of the opposite sex in the locker room is a sensitive subject that we want to address to help assure the comfort and safety of children and members of the facility. Due to the nature of our building/locker rooms and limited space, we are left with few desirable options. The above policy was established in 2019 when the facility opened to attempt to best address this situation:

“Children under the age of four must be accompanied by a responsible adult and may have access to either gender locker room, specific to the gender of the accompanying adult.  Children four years and above are limited to the same-gender locker room or may use the family bathroom in the pool area. Adults should do their best to preserve the modesty of other adults using the locker rooms.”

Like you, our highest priority is protecting the safety of the children using the facility. That being said, we ask that if you are using the opposite sex locker room of your child under the age of four (4), use the bathroom stalls to change them and do your best to be in and out quickly to preserve the modesty of other adults using the locker rooms at that time.

Our staff are here to help, so please don’t hesitate to utilize them. If you would like for a staff member to assist in letting other members using the locker room know that young children will be entering the locker room, we are happy to do that. Please stop at the front desk, or let the lifeguard know and we will assist in making sure those who are in the locker room are aware that children will be entering the room.

With your help, we can work together to make everyone's experience at the facility comfortable.

Thank you,

AHMFC
