​Our Focused Group Training is designed with you in mind! Our certified instructors develop programming with specific outcomes and goals. These programs are designed to provide education and results in a set period of time. They give you access to structured training with a group at a lower rate than that of one-on-one fitness coaching, but with the same expert training that you would receive one-on-one.

Fundamental Human Movement

This program is designed to help individuals learn and perfect the execution of essential human movement patterns. It focuses on developing motor control, enhancing learning and planning, and achieving high-quality movement across fundamental exercises. Participants will gain proficiency in basic movements such as squat, hip hinge, lunge, carry, push, pull, rotate, and brace, forming a strong foundation for overall physical health and performance.

 

Objectives:

The first four sessions will be held in the pool and the last four in the Fitness Studio.

Many individuals experience mobility challenges due to a limited range of motion or joint stability issues. Achieving full control over your movements is crucial for maintaining healthy joints and effectively strengthening and stabilizing them. This control allows for targeted muscle activation through specific exercises. Mobility forms the foundation upon which all other physical improvements are built.

 

Our four-week program is designed to enhance overall mobility in key areas—namely the shoulders, thoracic spine, hips, and ankles—essential joints that are integral to everyday movement. Through focused exercises and techniques, this program aims to improve flexibility, stability, and functional movement, ensuring a solid base for further physical development.

Improving Swimming Through Imagery and Drills

Prerequisites: Ability to swim 50 yards continuously with rhythmic breathing (face in the water).

Course Description: This course is designed to enhance the efficiency of recreational swimmers, with a primary focus on the front crawl. Depending on class abilities, other strokes may also be included. Skill development is driven by a combination of imagery and drills. As the classes follow a progressive sequence, consistent weekly attendance is highly recommended.

Movement and Landing Mechanics for Sport

Young athletes in the process of honing their skills often face injuries due to improper body mechanics. This program is designed to address these challenges by focusing on the development of effective body mechanics during key athletic movements.

​

 

Participants will engage in targeted training to improve their technique and reduce the risk of injury through:

  • Cutting and Sprinting Techniques: Learn and practice the proper mechanics for cutting and sprinting to enhance speed and agility while minimizing the risk of strains and sprains.

  • Movement and Turning: Develop efficient movement strategies for turning on the move, optimizing performance and stability during dynamic play.

  • Running Backwards: Master the mechanics of running backward to improve coordination and prevent common injuries associated with this less familiar movement pattern.

  • Proper Landing Mechanics: Focus on correct landing techniques to reduce the risk of injuries from jumps and sudden stops, promoting safer and more effective athletic performance.

This program combines practical drills with educational insights to ensure young athletes build a solid foundation in body mechanics, supporting both their immediate performance and long-term athletic development.
